I have had vast experience and training in psychological testing: Psychoeducational, Neuropsychological and Personality Assessment to help provide diagnostic clarity towards other clinicians of the current mental health conditions that are present. In addition I have worked with emphasis in Health Psychology and Clinical Psychological interventions to offer support in managing crisis interventions, minimize the effects of Trauma and Childhood Trauma with clients whom have diagnosis of PTSD as other mental health conditions such as Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Addiction, Bipolar, Depression/Anxiety and behavioral problems. I work along with the client to establish collaborative clinical goals that can help the client to identify their short term to long term goals to help address the psychological need of the diverse populations of children, teenagers, adults, veterans and geriatric populations.

About My Practice

Life transitions, family stress, medical or learning concerns, and unresolved trauma can all intensify anxiety, depression, anger, or relationship conflict. I work with clients to understand the patterns that keep them stuck and to build practical, strengths-based tools to improve emotional stability, functioning, and relationships. My approach is warm, collaborative, and clinically focused, with clear treatment goals and measurable progress.

I provide individual, family, and couple therapy and have extensive experience treating mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, behavioral and impulse-control problems, personality traits/disorders, obsessive–compulsive symptoms, somatic complaints, and adjustment difficulties. I pay careful attention to how symptoms affect school, work, family life, and overall quality of life, and I integrate different therapy models to fit each person’s needs and cultural context.

In addition to psychotherapy, I offer comprehensive assessments to clarify diagnosis and guide treatment and supports. This may include evaluating attention and learning concerns, emotional and behavioral difficulties, cognitive strengths and weaknesses, or personality and trauma-related patterns. When appropriate, I make recommendations for school supports (such as IEP or 504 plans), community resources, and coordination with medical and educational providers.

My Background

I have worked in outpatient clinics, hospital-based programs, community agencies, and interdisciplinary mental health centers, providing psychological testing and psychotherapy across the lifespan. My training includes extensive clinical work with children, adolescents, adults, veterans, and older adults, as well as experience in addiction counseling, crisis intervention, and risk assessment.

I have also supported graduate-level training as a teaching assistant in PhD and PsyD programs, helping supervise clinical practica and teaching psychotherapy theories and techniques. Earlier in my career, I provided industrial/organizational consultation and worked as a professional scorer for standardized assessments, which strengthened my skills in psychometrics, test interpretation, and evidence-based assessment.
